Jefferson Vineyards realizes Thomas Jeffersonâs dream of making fine Virginia wine. They still grow the majority of their fruit on sites selected by Jefferson in 1774. Their wines won several prizes and awards and some believe Jeffersonâs Viognier is some of the finest this side of Condrieu.

Blenheim Vineyards Dave Matthews established Blenheim in 2000. The winery is set in a beautiful location, and the view for the back deck is gorgeous. The great thing about Blenheim is that while you enjoy the view, you can enjoy some good wine as well.
Septenary Winery â Situated on 109 acres of rolling hills surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, Seven Oaks Farm and Vineyards is a magnificent property located just 15 minutes from Charlottesville in Greenwood, VA.
Valley Road Vineyards â Founded in 2015, Valley Road Vineyards was conceived by a group of friends who brought talents from successful careers in law, advertising, insurance, real estate development, and writing, among others. With their mutual love of Virginia and wine, a vineyard operation in the heart of the Monticello Viticulture Area seemed a good choice for a fun and rewarding business venture. Led by co-founder and CEO Stan Joynes, the group found an ideal site for a new vineyard and tasting room on Rte 151 at the head of the Rockfish Valley in Afton, Virginia. The first vines were planted in the spring of 2016, and VRV bottled its first wines in April.
